Pet Fest is a great venue to reach these families.

New this year is a special section of the show dedicated to the health and wellness of
our pets.  The animal wellness fair is for businesses that offer products or services to
enhance a beloved pet's health and help our furry companions live long healthy lives.

You can be a Pet Fest sponsor and have your logo on all print and/or broadcast
advertising. Your booth space in a prime location is included with any sponsorship.

Pet Fest does not sell pets at the event, the focus is to find homes for animals in need

Show Dates & Times
Set-up / Move-in:
Friday May 30, 2008- 2:00 p.m.- 7 p.m.
Saturday May 31, 2008 – 6:00 am to 9:30 am
Vendors must arrange for dollies and carts. Security guards and volunteers will be
posted at move-in doors. In the interest of public safety, all exhibits must be setup and
vehicles vacated from the show grounds prior to opening to the public.  Vehicles may
not enter or exit the show grounds during public show hours
.
The venue cannot loan extension cords, ladders or hoses to exhibitors.

Show Hours:
Saturday, May 31 2008  - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday, June 1, 2008 – 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Move-out:
Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
No removal or dismantling of exhibits or exhibit materials
will be permitted before the end of the show.  Exhibitors who vacate early will not be
allowed to participate in future Pet Fests.  Carts are not allowed in the aisles until after
5:00 p.m. Sunday.

Show Contractor
The official Show contractor is Design Events.
They are responsible for the following: draping, power, and display set-up assistance.
Draped back wall, sidewalls and power will be included with your booth.
All tables brought by vendors must be fully skirted to the floor.

Booth Construction
A. Height- Inline booths may reach a maximum of 8’ in height.
B. Signage-professional looking signage is required for all booths.  6”x32” signs are
available for $8. Banners may be used instead. Absolutely NO handwritten or brown
cardboard signs allowed.
C. Drape-all deluxe booths will be supplied with 8’ high draping at the back and 3’ high
on the sides. No draping is allowed on the aisle side of the booths. Any variation or
changes in the standard draping are at the exhibitor’s expense. Nothing is to be pinned
or stapled to drape-“s” hooks are available from Design Events.

Event Promotion and Advertising
Pet Fest will be well advertised for 6 weeks in print including Spokesman Review, The
Inlander and The Exchange. The event will also feature broadcast promotion including
$$15,000 in cable TV for 30 days and 5,000+ in radio 2 weeks prior to the event.  Total
promotional budget is projected to be $18,000-$20,000.  The event is expected to draw
4,000-6,000 consumers.  Nearly 4,000 pet lovers attended last year’s Pet Fest.

Door Prizes
Exhibitors may donate a door prize to be given away at the event.  Exhibitors who wish
to donate a grand prize valued over $200 if chosen as a grand prize sponsor, the
exhibitor and donated prize will be mentioned in advertising.

Exhibitor Badges
Exhibitor Badges will be pre-ordered with your original Application/Contract and are
available at the Show Office during move-in. Additional Badges can be purchased at a
charge of $3 ea.

Telephone Service
Exhibitors must make their own arrangements for telephone service within their booth.

Wireless Internet
Exhibitors may gain wireless internet access for $20 per day by calling Wind Wireless
(509) 466-8555 or (509) 462-4734.

Electrical Service
500W Electrical Service is available for an additional $35 with registration, additional
fees apply for power requests after initial registration.

Parking
Parking is FREE for all attending the event.  In the interest of public safety, exhibitors
must park off show grounds in the public parking lot and may not re-enter during show
hours.  

Water
Water is available in the washrooms. For large fill and drain requirements (large
aquariums, ponds, etc.). Contact the Show Office to make arrangements.



Animal Charities

Must be non-profit and may not represent any commercial interest, contain any
commercial literature (except from an approved sponsor) or involve any retail sales of
merchandise. Non-profit groups may solicit their own sponsor and promote the
sponsor at their booth after approval from show management.  Sponsor will also be
noted in the event program and website.  All participating non-profit groups are
requested to help promote Pet Fest in their newsletters and provide mailing labels for
promotion prior to the event.

Non-profits may request assistance finding a sponsor to underwrite the booth space.   
The sponsor will pay your organization directly and the show will promote your sponsor
in the program and website.  Another option to offset the cost of participation is the
volunteer program.  Pet Fest will donate $10 per hour per volunteer who works for show
management during Pet Fest to the participating organization of the volunteer’s choice
up to the cost of participation (you may get your check back!).  All Pet Fest volunteers
will select a participating organization to support at $10 per volunteer hour.

Animals in Art Show Artist Display

This year Pet Fest has added a special event celebrating artists who capture the spirit
of our animal companions in art.  This is a fine art show where artists display their work
in sculpture, photography, paintings, sketches, or mixed media.  Please no “crafts”, fine
art only.  Crafters are welcome to join us with a commercial space.  Artists may sell
their work at the event for a 15% commission to show management,   or take orders for
private commissions of the attendee’s own pet for no additional fee. We encourage
artists to work on creations at the event if possible.

All Animals in Art Show spaces are indoor floor spaces only, the artist is responsible
for the following items which can be ordered through show management or the
decorator for an additional fee: framework or covered table(s) to display work, chairs
and electrical service if needed.

Commercial Spaces

10x10 Outdoor Marketplace                                     $175  (per 10x10)                               
Open space only, no pipe and drape, power, or table provided.  Rain or shine, no
refunds for bad weather, a canopy or tent is highly recommended.  Exhibitors must be
non-profit, handmade, or retail from a small business with non-pet related products
priced $20 or less. Commercial exhibits including MLM or direct sales companies and
franchises must purchase a deluxe booth inside.

8’ Bare Table Only                                                           $250                                               
Does NOT Include pipe and drape or power. This is an assigned indoor location, table
display only, may not set up display around table. Exhibitor must provide a table skirt,
banner, or cloth that reaches the ground on 3 sides.  Space is for small independent
businesses and non-profits only.  Commercial exhibits including MLM or direct sales
companies and franchises must purchase a deluxe booth.

Payment terms are payment in full with the submission of this application with any
